Pro-Cite Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been in business? Pro-Cite, Inc., started in business in 1986 when I moved from Maryland. Up there, I worked for the largest pool plastering (marciting) company on the east coast, beginning in 1978. We coated on average twelve to fifteen pools every week for nine months of the year. I would safely guess I've done over 4,000 pools. Experience like that is not too common in Brevard.
Do you have references? I can give you many names of past customers who would be happy to talk to you. Just ask. But really, the best way to know the competency of a contractor is to ask friends, neighbors, licensing boards, and especially the Better Business Council at 984-8454. Make one phone call to weed out the losers.
Do you do the work yourself? I do all the draining, surface preparations, and tile work myself. I have an extremely experienced crew that helps me do the actual finishing. You simply cannot find a more experienced company to apply your new pool surface.
How long will this take? I work very efficiently having done this for so long. Once we start the process, we schedule work there every day until we are completed. Usually, only three days. The weather can affect us, so please understand that.
Why should I do business with you when there are so many other pool companies to choose from? With me, you know that you're getting your money's worth. Why pay more with a larger pool company, only to have slightly experienced workers with questionable ethics or methods? Why pay less with another company when you risk compromise on your job, or a warranty that's worthless when he's out of business, or too broke to fix what he screwed up? You cannot expect a better job from an employee than from someone who works for himself. My experience and reputation should allow you to sleep at night. I follow up after I finish the work and I'm always a phone call away.
When can you start? My average lead time is two weeks. Let me know if you have special needs and I will work around them.
Do you need a down payment? On most jobs, no. There are times where special orders or larger jobs may require a little up-front money. I do ask for payment in full when I'm finished.
If you have any other questions about the process or materials, or if you would like to discuss price or scheduling, please contact me. |
